The superb St. Lawrence String Quartet is renowned for the intensity of its performances, breadth of repertoire, and concerts that are intellectually and emotionally exciting. Through the SLSQ's Discovery presentation, you will experience an informed, enthusiastic and entertaining breakdown of a Haydn quartet filled with historical and musical guidance. "Haydn Discovery" is followed by selections from Adams' John's Book of Alleged Dances, a collection inspired by Haydn's wit
and by Beethoven's late period works. The evening concludes with Beethoven's last completed work.

A sound that has just about everything one wants from a quartet.
