Meany Theatre, Meany Studio and the Jones Playhouse

Limited, underground parking is available in the Central Plaza Parking Garage located underneath Meany Hall. Evening parking in the Central Parking Garage is generally $10.00 on Monday through Friday after 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon. On weekends, parking is free after noon and in the evening, with some exceptions for high-volume UW events.* You are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance.

*There is a $10 parking fee for the Central Plaza Parking Garage for all Meany Center for the Performing Arts events.

Penthouse Theatre

Located on campus near the north entrance at NE 45th St. and 17th Ave. NE. Limited parking is available near the Penthouse in the N4 lot. The daily parking fee is $15.00/day between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays. The night parking rate begins at 5 p.m. and is $5.00/night. A weekend rate of $5.00 is charged when parking on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.  On weekends, parking is free after noon and in the evening, with some exceptions for high-volume UW events. You are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance. Detailed directions here

15 minute limited pay spaces are available on 41st St.

Nearby Parking Alternatives

Additional parking is available in Main Campus Lot N4. Parking is also available in West Campus Lot W12.  Use the pay stations at each lot.

Over 60 bus routes serve the U-District, including many that drive on the campus itself or have stops within a few blocks of Meany Hall. King County Metro's handy Trip Planner is a great tool for finding an easy route to campus.
