The Burke Museum creates a better understanding of the world and our place in it. The museum is responsible for Washington State collections of natural and cultural heritage and sharing the knowledge that makes them meaningful. The Burke welcomes a broad and diverse audience and provides a community gathering place that nurtures life-long learning and encourages respect, responsibility and reflection.

Exit east onto N.E. 45th Street to 17th Avenue N.E. Turn right onto 17th. The museum is immediately on your right at the north entrance to the university. Stop at the gatehouse and ask the attendant for specific parking information.

Directions
Exit north onto Montlake Boulevard N.E. Turn left onto N.E. Pacific Street. Turn right and head north on 15th N.E. Turn right on N.E. 45th Street. Take the next right on 17th Avenue N.E. The museum is immediately on your right at the north entrance to the university. Stop at the gatehouse and ask the attendant for specific parking information.
Parking Information
Museum parking is operated by the University of Washington. Enter the UW campus at 17th Ave NE (Memorial Way) and NE 45th Street. Go to the gatehouse to purchase a parking ticket and tell the attendant that you are parking at the Burke Museum. Cash and Visa/Mastercard are accepted.
